Video reels

Social Media Reel

About a year into my time at WDUN / Access North Georgia in Gainesville, Georgia, I began cutting all my videos in social reel form.

The stories were still just as important, but fit the style more as we are a radio station and online paper. I am a reporter and anchor at WDUN, and cover the radio, online paper, and social reels for our news outlet.

These are just a collection of seven social reels we posted, including a saga of Maysville Data Center drama (there are even two more on my website not included), an exclusive interview with VA Secretary Doug Collins, a Jon Ossoff political rally in Athens, a lighthearted story about a trio of nurses related to each other, and an update on Flock abuse in our area.

Timestamps and titles are included.

WDUN Reel

A horizontal video reel from my time at WDUN / Access North Georgia, a radio station and online paper in Gainesville, Georgia.

I began working there in May of 2024 and this reel shows off my horizontal video capabilities, with six packages and timestamps included.

Despite being a radio station, I handled radio and online story content; but also went above and beyond to reach our viewers and listeners via video content. This was also a way to “stay fresh” with video editing skills and package construction.

I have a localized national political story, two local zoning issues, a lighthearted feature story, a local election preview, and a feature story/explainer.

College/Internship Reel

My reel from my time at WGRZ-2 in Buffalo, New York (June 2023-Aug. 2023) and Grady Newsource at UGA (Sept. 2023-Nov. 2023).

Includes live shots, standups, and two packages. Now included with timestamps and titles.
